"502 glue" (cyanoacrylate adhesive, also known as super glue) is a single-component adhesive that cures extremely rapidly upon contact with moisture in the air. In the woodworking and furniture industry, it is used for tasks that require quick fixation—such as securing small components, attaching edge banding or wooden dowels, temporarily holding mortise-and-tenon joints, or filling small gaps before driving in screws—situations where traditional wood glue or veneer adhesive would take too long to set.

- Filling gaps and minor cracks: Mixing with fine sawdust to create a filler for crevices before sanding.

Best practices to avoid wasting glue:
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and tightly fitted. 502 glue cannot bridge large gaps; if the gap is too wide, the glue will simply run off, resulting in a weak bond.
- Apply only a very thin layer. A thick application slows down the curing process and makes the bond brittle rather than stronger.
- Press and hold the pieces together for a few seconds immediately after assembly. The adhesive cures very rapidly; once parts are joined incorrectly, it is nearly impossible to readjust them.
- Replace the cap immediately after use. If left open, moisture in the air will cause the entire contents of the bottle to solidify.

Storage and Safety:
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Use in a well-ventilated area; avoid contact with eyes.
- If the adhesive sticks to your skin: do not pull it off forcefully. Soak the affected area in warm, soapy water and gently peel it apart. If the adhesive gets into your eyes or covers a large area of ​​skin, seek medical attention.
